LUXEMBOURG - Society Analysis and Left Practice is a science- oriented German political journal .
history
The quarterly magazine is published by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation . As a follow-up project to the magazine Utopie Kreativ , it has been published by VSA-Verlag since 2009 with 160 pages . With the 1st edition 2014 the magazine will be self-published and its size is limited to 120 pages. The background to this is that the Luxemburg should be obtained free of charge by subscription.
Content
Each issue contains a key topic with science-oriented articles. Luxemburg sees itself as the “Zeitschrift der Linke” , it wants to “ bring its discussions and analyzes together with friendly sharpness and make them fruitful” beyond the usual distinctions between directions, currents and schools, theory and practice, politics, economy and culture.
Editors and authors
The authors include leftist scholars, intellectuals, politicians and activists such as Nancy Fraser , David Harvey , Nicola Bullard , Judith Butler , Antonio Negri , Étienne Balibar , Arlie Hochschild , Raul Zelik , Bernd Riexinger , Gregor Gysi , Michael Brie , Franco Berardi . The editorial team includes Mario Candeias , Alex Demirović , Barbara Fried , Karin Gabbert , Corinna Genschel , Christina Kaindl , Rainer Rilling , Lutz Brangsch , Vanessa Lux , Silke Veth and Catharina Schmalstieg . The magazine is a cooperation partner of Linksnet .
