Luzie Buck (* 1983 in Ulm ) is a German actress .

life and career

Luzie Buck, born in 1983 in the Danube city of Ulm, acquired her acting skills between 2001 and 2004 at the School for Drama Hamburg . Parallel to her acting studies, she took part in a method acting seminar with Marie Bäumer , a camera acting workshop and imagination training. In 2004 she took part in the seminar “4 week acting for film” at the New York Film Academy in New York . As a theater actress, she worked at the Meiningen State Theater in 2006 and in the following years at the Small Theater Geesthacht and the Theater in der Basilika in Hamburg-Altona .

Luzie Buck made her film debut in 2006 in the college film The Dead Meat . She is known to the German-speaking television audience for her portrayal of the police chief Luzie Bender in the ZDF early evening series Da geht Kalle , in which she has been continuously cast since 2007.

Luzie Buck has a classical vocal training and is in the mezzo-soprano voice range , but is also inclined to pop music . In addition to standard German, the Swabian and Bavarian dialect, she also speaks French and fluent English. Buck's main residence is in the Hanseatic city of Hamburg .
