Lycium ciliato-elongatum is a plant type from the genus of Lycium ( Lycium ) in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).

Lycium ciliato-elongatum is an up to 1.5 m high, upright shrub . Its leaves are hairy and 3 to 14 mm long and 1.2 to 2.5 mm wide.
The flowers are hermaphroditic and five-fold. The calyx is tubular-cup-shaped, the calyx-tube is 2 mm long and is covered with 1 to 2 mm long calyx tips. The crown is funnel-shaped and purple in color. The corolla tube is 7 to 8.5 mm long, the corolla lobes 3 to 4 mm. The stamens are hairy.
The fruit is a berry that is 4 to 5 mm long and 1 to 1.5 mm wide and contains 2 to 4 seeds per ovary compartment .
Occurrence
The species is widespread in South America and occurs there in Argentina in the province of Córdoba .
