Lycium densifolium is a plant type from the genus of Lycium ( Lycium ) in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).

Lycium densifolium is a 1 to 1.5 m high shrub . Its leaves are succulent and sparsely hairy with glands. They become 5 to 16 mm long and 1 to 2.5 mm wide.
The flowers are hermaphrodite and fourfold. The calyx is almost cylindrical and sparsely ciliate. The calyx tube is 2.5 to 3 mm long and covered with 1.5 mm long calyx lobes. The crown is rounded and spreading, it is colored white and streaked with pale lavender veins. The corolla tube is 4 to 5 mm long, the corolla lobes 1 to 1.5 mm. The stamens are finely haired on the lowest 1 mm of the free-standing area.
The fruit is a red, spherical-elliptical berry with a diameter of 3 to 4 mm. It contains a multitude of seeds .
Occurrence
The species is widespread in North America and occurs there in the Mexican states of Baja California and Sonora .
