Lycium glomeratum is a plant type from the genus of Lycium ( Lycium ) in the family of the nightshade family (Solanaceae).

Lycium glomeratum is an upright shrub or small tree that reaches heights of 3 to 10 m. The leaves are hairless and 10 to 120 mm long and 5 to 44 mm wide.
The flowers are hermaphroditic and four or five-fold. The calyx is bell-shaped and hairless. The calyx tube is 1.5 to 3 mm long and is covered with 0.3 to 1 mm long calyx lobes. The crown is funnel-shaped and colored white, the corolla tube is 4.5 to 5.5 mm long, the corolla lobes 2 to 3 mm. The stamens are densely covered with fine hairs 2.5 to 4.5 mm above the base.
The fruit is a dark purple, spherical berry that is 3 to 4 mm long and 3.5 to 4 mm wide. It contains 10 to 20 seeds per ovary compartment .
Occurrence
The species is found in the Argentine provinces of Alagoas , Santa Cruz and Misiones , as well as in Paraguay ( Alto Parana ), Bolivia and Brazil .
