Lynda Tolbert-Goode
Lynda Tolbert-Goode (born Tolbert ; born October 3, 1967 in Washington, DC ) is a former American hurdler whose specialty was the 100-meter hurdles .
As third of the US eliminations (Trials) she qualified for the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, where she was fourth. The following year she won bronze at the World Athletics Championships in Stuttgart .
In 1996 she was second in the trials and seventh at the Olympic Games in Atlanta, despite a just recovered illness from Pfeiffer glandular fever .
In 1989 and 1993 she became national champion. In 1995 she won the US title in the 60-meter hurdles in the hall .
Lynda Tolbert-Goode is 1.64 m tall and weighed 53 kg at competition times. She is a graduate of Arizona State University and has been married to Jerald Goode since 1993.
