Lypiwka ( Ukrainian Липівка ; Russian Липовка Lipowka , German  Lindenfeld , from March 11, 1939 Polish Lubianka ) is a settlement in the western Ukrainian Lviv Oblast with about 1100 inhabitants.

history

The place was established in 1788. 16 German families of Reformed denomination were settled in the course of the Josephine colonization on the grounds of the village of Lubjana ( Луб'яна ). The colony was called Lindenfeld and became an independent parish. The Protestants belonged to the parish Dornfeld in Evangelical Superintendentur AB Galicia .

In 1900 the community of Lindenfeld had 21 houses with 127 inhabitants, 111 of them German-speaking, 16 Ruthenian-speaking, 17 Greek-Catholic, 110 of other faiths.

In 1921 the community Lindenfeld had 21 houses with 130 inhabitants, of which 100 were Germans, 21 Ruthenians, 2 Poles, 7 Jews (nationality and religion), 99 Protestant, 22 Greek Catholic, 2 Roman Catholic.

On March 11, 1939, the name Lindenfeld was changed to Lubianka .

During the Second World War it belonged first to the Soviet Union and from 1941 to the General Government, from 1945 back to the Soviet Union, now part of the Ukraine . The Germans who were then still resident were resettled in 1940 as a result of the German-Soviet border and friendship treaty.

Since September 5, 2015, the place administratively belongs to the newly founded rural municipality Trostjanez .
