Lychkivtsi ( Ukrainian Личківці ; Russian Лычковцы Lychkowzy , Polish Liczkowce ) is a village in the east of the Ukrainian Ternopil Oblast with about 1300 inhabitants (2004).
The village, founded in 1562, is the administrative center of the 38.59 km² district council municipality of the same name in the east of Hussjatyn district on the border with Khmelnytskyi Oblast , to which the neighboring village of Trybuchiwzi ( Трибухівці ⊙ ) with about 830 inhabitants belongs to the north .
The village is located at the confluence of the Taina in the Hnyla , a tributary of the Sbrutsch , and on the territorial road T – 20–02 .
The district center of Hussyatyn is 9 km south and the oblast capital Ternopil about 70 km northwest of the village.
1848 Zbruch was later at Lytschkiwzi in the river idol of Zbruch called stone sculpture found a Slavic deity from the 9th or 10th century.
