Märkisches scholarship for music
The Märkische Stipendium für Musik is awarded by the Märkische Kulturkonferenz eV . The € 12,000 scholarship is advertised every year for a specific instrument and awarded after a public performance in the Lüdenscheid cultural center . All German music colleges that are allowed to nominate one applicant per location are eligible to make proposals for the application for the scholarship . Since 2003, the audience has had one vote in addition to the members of the jury when selecting the scholarship holder (s) . The scholarship holders work regularly with the Märkisches Youth Symphony Orchestra .
