Mélanie Doutey (born November 22, 1978 in Paris ) is a French actress .

Life

The daughter of the theater actor and director Alain Doutey and the film actress Arielle Séménoff graduated from high school and entered the Conservatory of Drama (CNSAD) in Paris in 1996 , where she received an acting training. In 1997 she had a role in Jean-Charles Taccella's feature film Les Gens Qui S'Aiment (1998), after which she took on guest roles in French television series.

In 2002 Doutey first became known to a larger audience with a supporting supporting role in Pierre Jolivet's film Le Frère du Guerrier at the side of Guillaume Canet . She had her international breakthrough in the role of Michèle Charpin-Vasseur in Claude Chabrol's The Flower of Evil .

Doutey was dating actor Gilles Lellouche from 2002 to 2013 ; the relationship has a daughter (* 2009).
