The Mölltaler Polinik is with a height of 2784  m above sea level. A. the highest mountain in the Kreuzeck group in the Austrian state of Carinthia .

It is located south of the villages of Flattach and Obervellach in the Mölltal . From Obervellach, a hiking trail leads over the Polinikhütte ( 1873  m , Mölltal section of the ÖAV ) to the summit. From Flattach you can climb the mountain through the Raggaschlucht and Raggaalm.

Pohl interprets the name, derived from the Slovenian pol ( half ), as Mittagsberg , cf. Zwölfer (mountain name) .
