The Mühlbach (Czech: Mlýnský potok ) is the upper reaches of the Hundsbach in the Bavarian part of the Kohlwald in the Fichtelgebirge .

source

The Mühlbach rises in the Czech part of the Kohlwald on the eastern slope of the Výhledy (German: Oberkunreuthberg ).

course

After a longer course at Pechtnersreuth , the Mühlbach unites with the Giesbach , which marks the border with the Czech Republic, briefly changes back to Czech territory and becomes the Hundsbach when it re-enters Bavaria. This flows in a southerly direction and flows into the Wondreb near Hundsbach . It also runs along the border between Germany and the Czech Republic until shortly before it is underpassed under federal highway 299 .

use

Mühlbach, Hundsbach and Giesbach are used economically by fishing (pond systems).
