Mühlenstrasse 19 (Quedlinburg)
The house at Mühlenstraße 19 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .
It is located south of the Quedlinburger Schlossberg on the south side of Mühlenstraße between the also listed buildings Mühlenstraße 18 and Mühlenstraße 20 . The house is registered in the Quedlinburg Monument Register and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site .
Architecture and history
The half-timbered house was built in the early 1620. At the street side, there is a dormer . While the basement and mezzanine levels were later renewed in massive construction, the facade of the upper floor on the floor and roof thresholds has the decorations typical of the construction period. So you can find dew rod , roller beam heads , ship throats and filler woods .
The painter Gernot Sasse (* 1962) lives in the house .
