The Mouth of the Tiroler Achen nature reserve is located in the municipality of Übersee in the Traunstein district in Upper Bavaria .

The approximately 1,264.5 hectare area with the number NSG-00304.01, which was placed under nature protection in 1987 , extends directly to the north and east of the core town of Feldwies along the Tiroler Achen and the Sossauer Canal , which both cover the area in southern Flow through north direction. The A 8 crosses the area in a west-east direction.
