The coin mill in Gundelfingen an der Donau , a town in the Swabian district of Dillingen an der Donau ( Bavaria ), was built at the end of the 18th century. The buildings at Bahnhofstrasse 6 are a protected building ensemble .

architecture

The former water mill is located between two arms of the Brenz and consists of a dwelling house, a barn or stable building and the mill building. The two-storey residential building with 13 window axes has two-storey gables with swellings on the lower floor and framed gable triangles with pyramidal tips on the upper floor. This building has two single-wing doors that have stone walls and are decorated with raised rosettes . The floors are separated by a plaster tape that is arched in a fan arch on the eastern door. On the upper floor, dazzling fields are provided with frescoes depicting the Holy Walk , the Trinity and Mary .

The mill building, positioned transversely on the eastern side, two stories profiled cornices as basement separation and has a profiled gable edge. On the courtyard side there is an outside staircase to the upper floor.
