meaning

On the Asian side of Istanbul, the settlement extends from the Bosporus on the one hand to the east and on the other hand along the coastline to the southeast. The south-eastern part is already connected to the metro network and the lines of the S-Bahn network by the M4 . On the other hand, there are still no rapid transit connections to the east, so that public transport is carried by city buses that connect the inland districts with Üsküdar on the coast and provide a connection to the metro bus. Since many citizens live on the Asian side of the city but work on the European side, there is a large flow of commuters from east to west and back. At the moment this is still carried by ferries and by individual or bus traffic over the two bridges over the Bosporus. Several large housing estates have emerged along the planned route of the M5 , so that several hundred thousand people live here. The traffic conditions for these citizens are to be improved with the new metro line.

building-costs

For the construction of the major construction project carried out by the Doğuş Construction Group , 564 million euros were budgeted, which will be taken over by the public sector.
