Martin Auer
Martin Auer (born January 14, 1951 in Vienna ) is an Austrian writer .
Life
Martin Auer is a great-grandson of Jakob Sokopp and son of Gertrude (née Sokopp) and Georg Auer . From 1971 to 1977 he was a dramaturge , actor and musician at the Theater im Künstlerhaus Wien . He then worked as a freelance artist with the folk music group Dreschflegel and as a freelance songwriter . Then he worked as a journalist and in advertising and public relations for a few years . He passed the magician exam and worked for a while as a magician , also made music again with the folk group plover .
Auer has been a freelance writer and storyteller since 1986, as well as an actor, cabaret artist and translator ( Flunkerfisch , 2007).
