The MIP Management Institute of Paris is a private university for management , based in Paris . In 2010 the merger with the EDHEC Business School took place .

The MIP was founded in 2000 on the basis of a private initiative. Founders were Claude Bébéar (AXA), Bruno Bich (BIC), Martin Bouygues (Bouygues), Pedro Ballvé (Campofrío), Tarak Ben Ammar (Quinta Communications), José Creuheras (Planeta), Paul Desmarais jun. (Power Corporation), Chris Donahue (Federated Investors), Dionisio Garza-Medina (Alfa), Corrado Giacomini (Giacomini), Manuel Guerrero (Grupo Fades), Frank Hanna (HBR Capital), Prince Philipp von und zu Liechtenstein (LGT Bank) , Alois Fürst zu Löwenstein (Federated Asset Management), Arnaud Lagardère (Lagardère Media), Eduardo Malone (Chargeurs & Pathé), Paolo Marzotto (Veninvest), Jean Nassau, Prince of Luxembourg (Degrémont - Suez Environnement), Marc Odendall, François- Henri Pinault (PPR Group), Serge de Poix (MPO), Jean-Pierre Souviron (Directeur Général de Industrie France).

The university focuses its training on the topics of globalization, leadership and ethics. The students undertake personally to work weekly for three years in a project of a humanitarian organization.

University

The MIP offers a five-year bachelor's degree in Management and Economics. In addition, a Master of Business Administration as a Global MBA and EMBA are offered. The basics of management (problem solving, law, quantitative methods, accounting, organizational behavior and information management) and corporate management (finance, marketing, operations and human resources) as well as ethics and value management are taught.

The campus is located in Paris in the 16th district, near the Eiffel Tower . By 2007 there were around 7,000 students.

The MIP is accredited according to the standards of the AACSB .
