The Moravskoslezská fotbalová liga , MSFL for short , is the third highest division in Czech football and, together with the Česká fotbalová liga (ČFL), the highest amateur league. The teams are divided according to geographic aspects. Clubs from Moravia and Silesia play in the MSFL , while teams from Bohemia play in the ČFL .
Since the 1993/94 season, the MSFL has been held unchanged in the same mode by the Czech football association ČMFS . 16 teams take part, everyone plays against everyone once at home and once away. A total of 240 games will be played in 15 first-round and 15 second-round match days. The champions are the team with the most points, with three points for a win and one point for a draw.
The season usually lasts from the beginning of August to mid-June of the following year with a winter break from mid-November to mid-March.
The master moves up to the 2nd division . The last two teams are relegated to the fourth division, Divize . If more than one team from Moravia or Silesia is relegated from the 2nd division, there are three relegated teams. From the Divize D and Divize E , the master rises to the MSFL.
