MTN40 2010/11
The MTN40 2010/11 was the 30th staging of the National List-A cricket - Cup in South Africa . The competition was held between November 2, 2011 and December 9, 2011 between the six South African first-class franchises over 40 overs each . In the final, the Knights were able to prevail against the Titans with 5 wickets ( D / L ) .
format
The six teams played in two groups twice against each other team in their own group and once against each team in the other group. There are four points for a win, three for a draw, two for a no result and no point for a loss. A bonus point is awarded if, with a sense of purpose, one's own run number exceeds that of the opponent by 1.25 times. Furthermore, it is possible that teams are deducted points if, for example, they play too slowly. The first two of each group qualified for the semi-finals, which was held in the best-of-three . Its winners played the winner of the competition in the final.
