plant

Painting without black. The mostly large-format abstract canvas works are sprayed with paint and are applied in many thin layers.

“In her painting, Kallrath deals with the process of consciousness of color and the idea of trivial optimism. Here she completely dispenses with the “non-color” black. In her pictures, Kallrath splinters the perspective of a transcendent fleetingness that hardly leaves a white area untouched. The symbiosis of expressive color palette and "all-over technique", which rarely allows the viewer to perceive the picture as a whole, invites you to leave your thoughts and interpretations free. "

engagement

In addition, she is committed to UNICEF . As a Swedish art ambassador, for example, she designed the stage design for the Unicef gala in Neuss , Hilden and Cologne as well as the cover of the Unicef music album. In addition to well-known artists such as Udo Lindenberg , Günther Uecker , Tony Cragg and Rosemarie Trockel , Theresa Kallrath's work of art was exhibited throughout Germany for two years and auctioned for a good cause.

Theresa Kallrath's works are traded at various charitable art auctions, such as for the Karlheinz-Böhm Foundation or the Christoph-Metzelder Foundation .
