MTN Domestic Championship 2007/08

The MTN Domestic Championship 2007/08 was the 27th staging of the National List-A cricket - Cup in South Africa . The competition was held between February 6, 2007 and March 19, 2008 between the six South African first-class franchises and a representative of Zimbabwe over 45 overs each . In the final the Titans were able to prevail against the Warriors with 38 runs .

format

The seven teams played in a group twice against each other team. There are four points for a win, two for a draw or no result and no point for a loss. A bonus point is awarded if, with a sense of purpose, one's own run number exceeds that of the opponent by 1.25 times. Furthermore, it is possible that teams are deducted points if, for example, they play too slowly. The first four of the group contest the semi-finals, the winners of which determine the winner of the competition in the final.
