Momentum 1 Day Cup 2015/16
The Momentum 1 Day Cup 2015/16 was the 35th staging of the National List A cricket - Cup in South Africa . The competition was held between October 9, 2015 and February 28, 2016 between the six South African first-class franchises. In the final, the Lions were able to prevail against the Cape Cobras with 8 wickets .
format
The six teams played in a group twice against each other team. There are four points for a win, two for a draw or no result and no point for a loss. A bonus point is awarded if, with a sense of purpose, one's own run number exceeds that of the opponent by 1.25 times. Furthermore, it is possible that teams are deducted points if, for example, they play too slowly. The first in the group qualifies directly for the final, while the second and third in the group play a semi-final.
