Maboula Ali Lukunku (born April 14, 1976 ) is a Congolese footballer who also has a French passport.

Lukunku started his professional career in 1997 at the French club AS Monaco . After a total of five years in the Principality of Monaco , his journey through Europe began. Over the next five years, Lukunku signed with six clubs across Europe. First he moved to the Belgian team Standard Liège , from where his journey continued to Turkey to Galatasaray Istanbul (€ 2,800,000 transfer fee). After only one year he was loaned to France for the Lille OSC . The Congolese then moved to KAA Gent again in Belgium for € 1,000,000 . Lukunku had two other positions here, namely at his former employer Standard Liège and at RAEC Mons . In September 2008 he finally moved to the 3rd division in Germany for FC Erzgebirge Aue . He played his first game in the dress of FC Erzgebirge Aue on September 13, 2008 in the away game against the Stuttgarter Kickers , which Aue won 2-1. On the 21st matchday in the game against Carl Zeiss Jena , Lukunku scored a hat trick in a 5-0 win between the 33rd and 40th minute. On April 15, 2009 Lukunku's contract with FC Erzgebirge Aue was canceled. The association has kept silent about the reasons, but team manager Heiko Weber gave character reasons for the dismissal. In the 2009/10 season he played for RFC Liège and then ended his active career.
