Maciej Kruczek (born January 26, 1988 ) is a Polish ice hockey player who has been under contract with KS Cracovia in the Ekstraliga since 2014 .

Career

Club

Maciej Kruczek began his career in the youth department of the KTH Krynica , for which he mainly played in the second class I league . Only in the 2006/07 and 2013/14 seasons did he play with the Malopolska in the Ekstraliga . In January 2014 he left his home club to join GKS Tychy . With the Silesians he was Polish runner-up in 2014 and then moved to KS Cracovia , with which he was Polish champion and cup winner in 2016 and champion again in 2017.

International

For Poland, Kruczek only took part in Division I of the U18 World Cup in 2006 in the junior division .

He made his debut in the men's national team nine years later in the Division I games of the 2015 World Cup . He was also on the ice in Division I in 2016 and 2017 . He also played for Poland in qualifying for the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang 2018 .
