The Mad Caddies are an American ska-punk band that was formed in Solvang , California in August 1995 .

style

The band uses elements of melodic punk rock , ska , hardcore punk , reggae and - especially on the second album Duck and Cover - also Dixieland jazz in their titles . While their first CD Quality Softcore is still very much oriented towards pure Ska, on Duck and Cover there are mainly punk and jazz elements. Her third album, Rock the Plank , no longer has any Dixieland elements with a few exceptions. The fourth and fifth albums, on the other hand, are more pop- oriented, they are slower and have more serious themes.
