Madlen Summermatter (born August 1, 1974 in Staldenried ) is a former Swiss ski racer .

biography

Summermatter made her debut on January 16, 1993 at the World Cup in Cortina d'Ampezzo and competed in 65 World Cup races by the end of her career. In the same year she won the silver medal in the Super-G at the Junior World Championships in Colere .

As a professional, she achieved a total of five top ten spots in her career. Summer Matters best result was the 5th place in the downhill of Lake Louise . In the Alpine Ski European Cup she achieved one victory and two podium places. Her best result at a world championship was a 15th place in the World Cup Super G in Sestriere. Her best placement in the overall World Cup was a 34th place in the 1995/96 season. At the 33rd World Cup in 1996, she was 18th in the downhill and 17th in the Super-G. After the 1996/97 season, she ended her career.
During her racing career she was still called Summermatter-Brigger.
