The Madritschspitze ( Italian Cima Madriccio ) is a 3265  m high mountain in the Ortler Alps in South Tyrol . It rises between the Madritschtal, which branches off from the inner Martell valley, and the Suldental . The closest peaks in the further course of the ridge are the Hintere Schöntaufspitze ( 3325  m ) in the north and the Butzenspitze ( 3300  m ) in the south-west . The Madritschspitze is part of the Stilfserjoch National Park . In winter the summit is often climbed as a ski tour, the Zufallhütte serves as a base for ascents through the Butzental or the Madritschtal.
