Mady Morrison (born January 15, 1990 ) is a German yoga teacher , YouTuber and blogger .

Life

Morrison grew up with her mother after her parents separated when Morrison was nine years old.

At the age of 13 she was introduced to yoga for the first time by her sports teacher . She later tried different styles of yoga such as Bikram yoga , before finally discovering Vinyasa yoga for herself. In 2014, Morrison completed her yoga teacher training in Berlin . She teaches yoga in Berlin and Potsdam .

At the same time, she used her Instagram channel to introduce young people to yoga via digital media. In February 2015, she opened her YouTube channel, which quickly reached several hundred thousand subscribers. In September 2017, Morrison appeared in an episode of the sixx television series Fitness Diaries . Morrison has been running her own blog since 2011 , where she initially published articles on the subject of travel. She later published articles there on other topics such as yoga, nutrition and exercise.

In February 2018 she received the Young ICONs Award in the Social Talent category. In September 2018 she was nominated for a prize in the Best of Sports category at the Golden Camera Digital Award .

In addition to her yoga practice, Morrison studied communication design and works in the fields of editorial design , photography and videography .

She lives with her boyfriend in Berlin-Zehlendorf .
