Maiß is a village in the market town of Altlengbach in the St. Pölten-Land district , Lower Austria .

The village is located east of St. Pölten in the Lower Austrian Pre-Alps and at the western end of the Vienna Woods . It also consists of the hamlet of Kaltenberg, the Rotte Steineckl and several individual layers. On January 1, 2020, the village had 209 inhabitants.
