Maiara Walsh (born February 18, 1988 in Seattle , Washington ) is an American actress of Brazilian descent.

life and career

Walsh is best known for her role as Meena Paroom in the offshoot of the television series Raven Looks Through , Easy Cory , in which she also sings the theme song with Kyle Massey . She played in the music video for 7 Things by Miley Cyrus and participated in 2007 in the Disney Channel Games in part. From 2009 to 2010 she played the niece of Carlos Solis in the series Desperate Housewives , where she only had a guest role in the fifth season and finally a leading role in the sixth season. In 2010 she appeared in two episodes of the second season of the Vampire Diaries . In the second part of Girls Club 2 - be careful! (2011) she plays the “leader” of plastics . In April 2012 she got a leading role in the independent film Grace . In 2013 she played the lead role of Kantmiss Evershot in the movie The Panem Turkey - The Starving Games .

Walsh is fluent in Portuguese and Spanish .
