The Prankster (German: Der Schelm) is an American comedy film from 2009 .
action
Chris Karas (Matt Angel) is a shy, beautiful, "one" student and the son of a hard working Greek contractor. And he is a member of the "Prankster". The "Pranksters" are a secret alliance that tries to combat injustice in their high school with masterful acts. He dreams of a top college and is courting Mariah Rivera (Veronica Sixtos), the radiantly beautiful editor of the school newspaper. Chris' dad is a bit old fashioned and can't understand why he wants to be with Mariah. In his actions in his group and in discovering himself, he is supported by his uncle Nick.
Chris tries to become the speaker at the high school graduation ceremony. But he's not alone, as the slimy, neat Brad Burris (Devon Werkheiser) would like that too. So Chris tries to get into the school newspaper to stay one step ahead of his rival. But Mariah doesn't write anything. But she is surprised and fascinated by Chris, whom she once put in the “NO-GO” drawer.
