The Maisbach settlement , including settlement Maisbach , is a living space within the boundaries of the Külsheimer district Uissigheim in Main-Tauber-Kreis in Franconia dominated northeastern Baden-Wuerttemberg .

geography

The Maisenbach settlement can be reached via a farm road branching off from the K 2881 and a farm road branching off from Eiersheimer Straße in the Uissigheim district .

The Maisenbach, which gives the residential area its name, arises a little below the residential area on the left slope from the confluence of the Hartgraben main strand upper course coming from the west, which rises south of the Rinderberg and southwest of Uissigheim, and the shorter Eiersheimer trench, which arises on the northern edge of Eiersheim .

Small monuments

A little below the Maisenbach settlement there is a wayside shrine and a wayside cross on the K 2881:

  • Small monument No. 15 (Uissigheim): A Pietà from 1736, by the bridge on the Maisenbach.
  • Small monument no.22 (Uissigheim): Christ on the cross from 1767.

Not far from the two small monuments is the Josefskapelle in the Tauberbischofsheim - Hochhausen district .
