Maja Adam Ilić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Маја Адам Илић ; born April 23, 1979 in Belgrade , Yugoslavia , born Maja Ilić ) is a Serbian volleyball player .

Career

Maja Adam Ilić played volleyball in her hometown for OK Red Star Belgrade until 2001 . She then moved to Slovenia to Nova KBM Branik Maribor , with whom she was Slovenian champion and cup winner in 2002 and Slovenian runner-up and cup winner in 2003. From 2003 to 2011, the middle blocker played for the German Bundesliga club VfB 91 Suhl . In 2007 and 2011 she took third place in the Bundesliga, won the DVV Cup in 2008 and reached the cup final again in 2010 and 2011 . In addition, she was in the top positions in the German volleyball rankings in the block category for many years.

Maja Adam Ilić played 85 times for Yugoslavia and Serbia and Montenegro .
