The Makmal ( Kyrgyz Макмал ) is a left tributary of the Alabuga in the Kyrgyz regions of Jalalabat and Naryn in Central Asia .

The Makmal rises on the northern edge of the Schalgyskyr the east -Gebirgszugs Ferghanagebirges . From there it flows through the mountains initially in a northerly direction, later in an easterly direction. In doing so, it drains the southern flank of the Schaartasch and Ak- Schyirak mountain ranges, which run further north . In the lower reaches it turns to the northeast and finally flows into the Alabuga, which also flows in a northeast direction. The Makmal has a length of 41 km. Its catchment area covers 441 km². Its mean discharge is 1.8–2.5 m³ / s.
