Malzhausen is a village in the municipality of Langenmosen in the Upper Bavarian district of Neuburg-Schrobenhausen . It was the same until 1972 parish seat community .

Malzhausen is located in the old Bavarian Donaumoos in the planning region of Ingolstadt .
history
In 1007, the then imperial couple Heinrich and Kunigunde gave the Benedictine nuns from Neuburg an der Donau the manorial power over the imperial area of Sandizell with Malzhausen, Purgau and other farms in Mosen and Winkelhausen. In 1464, Sandizell Castle was referred to as the Hofmark of Sandizell, some of whose privileges existed until the 1848 revolution . In the course of the administrative reforms in Bavaria , the community of Malzhausen was created with the community edict of 1818 . On April 1, 1972, this previously independent municipality of Malzhausen was incorporated into Langenmosen.
