Emanuel de Jesus Bonfim Evaristo (born August 28, 1982 in Setúbal ), called Manú , is a Portuguese football player .

Career

Manú is a midfielder, and is mostly used in the right wing. His professional career began in the 2001/02 season when he was under contract with FC Alverca . In 2004 a four-year contract with Benfica Lisbon followed . Meanwhile, he was loaned to the clubs FC Modena or Estrela Amadora . In August 2007 Manú moved again on loan for a year to AEK Athens . From 2008 to June 30, 2010 he played for the Marítimo Funchal . There he scored 4 goals in 52 top division games. In the 2010/2011 season Manu played for Legia Warsaw in the Polish Ekstraklasa , where he won his only title with the Polish Cup. He then played for one season in China with Beijing Guoan , twice in Cyprus with Ermis Aradippou and in his hometown with Vitória Setúbal .
