Man Dandan ( Chinese  满 丹丹 , Pinyin Mǎn Dāndān ; born May 5, 1989 in Harbin , Heilongjiang ) is a Chinese cross-country skier .

Career

It has taken part in competitions organized by the Fédération Internationale de Ski since 2005 . She ran her first World Cup race in March 2006 in Changchun , which she finished with 24th place in the sprint and thus also won her first World Cup points. At the 2006 Winter Olympics in Pragelato , she finished 56th in the sprint. In January 2007 in Changchun she reached eighth place in the sprint, her best ever World Cup result. Her best placings at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2007 in Sapporo were 44th place in the sprint and tenth place in the relay and in the team sprint. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec in 2009 , she finished 55th in the sprint and 13th in the team sprint. At the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver , she reached 51st place in the sprint. In February 2011 she won the bronze medal with the relay and the silver medal together Li Hongxue in the team sprint at the 2011 Asian Winter Games . She took 41st place in the sprint and 12th place in the team sprint at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2013 in Val di Fiemme . Her best results at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi were 32nd place in the sprint and 15th place in the team sprint. At the Nordic Opening in Ruka at the beginning of the 2015/16 season she finished 69th. At the Winter Asian Games 2017 in Sapporo, she won the silver medal in the relay and the gold medal in the sprint.
