The Mandlingpass is 815 m above sea level. A. high valley pass in the east of the Radstädter Tauern in the Ennstal . It is located in Mandling , a district of Radstadt ( Salzburg ) and Schladming ( Styria ) in Austria .
South of the pass road is the breakthrough of the Enns in the Styrian Ennstal 807 m above sea level. A. The Mandling Pass itself does not form a watershed . The Enns separates the Salzburg Slate Alps in the north and the Radstädter Tauern in the south. From the north, the Mandling (in Styria: Mandlingbach ) forms the federal state border and flows into the Enns just to the east.
The important Mandlingpass fortification was located on the former border between the Prince Archdiocese of Salzburg and Austrian Styria .
