Manfred Bischoff (born April 22, 1942 in Calw ) is a German manager .

Life

From 1962 to 1964 studied Bischoff in Heidelberg and Tuebingen Law , from 1964 economics at the University of Heidelberg . After completing his studies with a diploma in economics, Bischoff was an assistant at the Alfred Weber Institute at Heidelberg University from 1968 to 1976 , where he also received his doctorate in 1973. rer. pole. After the establishment of EADS (today: Airbus Group ) in 2000, Bischoff took over the function of Chairman of EADS, which he held until April 5, 2007.

On April 12, 2006, Bischoff was elected to the Supervisory Board of DaimlerChrysler AG at the DaimlerChrysler (now: Daimler AG ) general meeting. With effect from April 5, 2007, Bischoff was elected Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DaimlerChrysler AG (today Daimler AG).

Bischoff is married and has two children. His daughter is married to Alan Hippe .
