Manfred Korytowski

Manfred Korytowski (born December 31, 1936 in Königsberg (Prussia) , † August 24, 1999 in Munich ) was a German film producer .

Life

Manfred Korytowski grew up in Brazil , lived in Israel from 1953 to 1956 and from 1956 in Berlin . From 1960 he was production manager at the CCC film production Artur Brauner , where he a. a. was responsible for the Karl May films as production manager . In 1972 he moved to Munich with his wife Tita , where in 1976 he took over the majority at the Institute for Applied Film Art , which has been called Infafilm GmbH since 1977 . With his film company, he produced numerous films, series and documentaries mainly for the Bavarian radio , including Ellis Kauts Meister Eder and his Pumuckl with director Ulrich König .

After his unexpected death in 1999, his widow Tita Korytowski continued the company. The two had two sons.
