Manfred Krafft (business economist)

Manfred Krafft (born July 18, 1963 in Lauenburg ) is a German professor of business administration , especially marketing .

Krafft studied business administration at the University of Lüneburg from 1985 to 1990 , received his doctorate in 1994 with field service remuneration in the light of new institutional teaching at the University of Kiel and completed his habilitation in 2000 with a thesis on customer loyalty and customer value , also in Kiel. From 1999 to 2003 he was Professor of Marketing at the WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management ( formerly: Scientific University for Management ) in Vallendar and in 2003 succeeded Heribert Meffert at the Institute for Marketing at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster on.

Krafft is involved in international publications and publications and is a reviewer for renowned international scientific newspapers for marketing. He founded the Circle of Excellence in Marketing , which supports young students; the members of the Circle of Excellence also participate in social projects. As a member of the Weitblick initiative, Krafft is also committed to fair access to education around the world and supports the student initiative Symposium Oeconomicum Muenster as a curator in holding their annual business congress.

Krafft is the author and publisher of numerous publications on direct marketing , communication policy and customer loyalty.

In 2020 Krafft received the science award of the EHI, the GS1 and the Academic Partnership .
