Manfred Langner

Manfred Langner (born June 28, 1941 in Katowice ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

After being expelled from Silesia , Manfred Langner's family settled in Weilburg , where he has lived since then. 1947–1961 he attended elementary school and high school in Weilburg. 1961–1962 he did military service and left the service as a lieutenant in the reserve.

After studying law at the Universities of Bonn and Tübingen (1962–1967) and completing his doctorate with Theodor Eschenburg (1968) on the subject of law and practice in government formation in the federal government , Langner worked as a lawyer in the Langner law firm in Weilburg since 1971 . Langner was appointed a notary on June 28, 1984 . Langner has been a specialist lawyer for tax law since April 16, 1993 . He retired in 2005.

Langner was the chairman of the Weilburger Schlosskonzerte eV association from 2006 to 2009

politics

From 1968, Langner was a member of the district council of the Oberlahnkreis and Limburg-Weilburg districts . 1972–1974 he was a member of the state executive committee of the Junge Union Hessen

From December 1, 1974 to December 13, 1976 Manfred Langner was a member of the Hessian state parliament . Gerhard Keil was the successor .

Then Manfred Langner was a member of the German Bundestag for the CDU between 1976 and 1990 (constituency Obertaunus and Hochtaunus ). As legal counsel for the CDU / CSU parliamentary group, Langner u. a. the fundamental judgment of the Federal Constitutional Court on the limitation of national debt of April 18, 1989.

Langner attracted national attention as chairman of the Flick investigative committee (see: Flick affair ).

In 1979 he was a member of the 7th, 1984 the 8th and 1989 the 9th Federal Assembly .
