Manfred Luda

Manfred Luda (born June 8, 1921 in Schweidnitz ; † November 24, 2014 in Meinerzhagen ) was a German lawyer and politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

Luda was born in Silesia and grew up in Westphalia . After attending elementary and high school in Lüdenscheid and graduating from high school in 1939 at the Zeppelin High School there , he studied economics and law at the Universities of Göttingen and Bonn . However, he had to interrupt his studies after the first state examination in law and took part in the Second World War as a soldier from 1941 to 1945 , most recently as a lieutenant in the reserve.

After the end of the war, Luda continued her studies and finished it in 1948 with the second state examination in law. He had been a lawyer in Lüdenscheid since 1950 and became a lawyer in Meinerzhagen in 1952 . In 1955 he received his doctorate in Cologne to Dr. jur. and in 1958 he was appointed notary.

Political party

Luda joined the CDU in 1949, was deputy district chairman of the CDU Altena-Lüdenscheid and a member of the state board of the CDU Westphalia-Lippe.

MP

Luda was a councilor for the city of Lüdenscheid in 1952/53 and chairman of the CDU parliamentary group there. From 1956 to 1964 he was a member of the district council of Altena , where he also chaired the CDU parliamentary group. In 1964 he was elected to the city council of Meinerzhagen.

He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1961 to 1980. He was always drawn into parliament via the state list of the CDU North Rhine-Westphalia .
