Manfred Mühlbeyer

Manfred Mühlbeyer (born May 10, 1955 in Erpolzheim ) is a German book, stage and film author, director and event manager from Freinsheim , who has also made a name for himself as a collector of toys.
Life
In 1965 Mühlbeyer went to the state-recognized music school Wörner in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse and attended it until 1972; at the same time, he graduated from the commercial school in the same place from 1971. In addition, he took private lessons from the Kurkapellmeister Willy Schroers in Bad Dürkheim , who became his mentor.
In 1967 Mühlbeyer appeared on stage for the first time with the accordion . As a trained organist ( Hammond organ player, now keyboard player), at the age of 16 he accompanied interpreters of the German-speaking music scene, such as Bata Illic , the Jacob Sisters , Gitte Hænning and Tony Marshall , for whom he wrote the hit song "Äähner geht noch ...".
In 1976 Mühlbeyer recorded the first record with the band Butterfly. He also made his first TV appearances with Butterfly in 1977. In 1991 he founded the revival band The Memories, in 1997 the hit band Die Mendocinos, The Musical Company (1999) and Solid Gold (2003). Mühlbeyer is responsible for the concept and organization of around 10,000 events. Since the mid-1970s, he has presented the “Time Travel” anniversary concept that he designed and further developed on occasions such as ten years of German unity, 50 years of Lufthansa , 100 years of Renault in Germany.
He gained his first experience with TV productions in 1982 with "Im Krug zum grün Kranze". In 1984 he started working with the first private television company in Ludwigshafen am Rhein . In 1986 he founded the Ton-Studio-Weinstrasse together with his brother Roland Mühlbeyer, in which he also produced commercials. In the 90s there was a collaboration with the team of the GUM puppet satire " Hurray Germany ". In 2005 he created a show concept for the TV production "Feste Fiere" (SWR). He wrote scripts for TV productions with the hidden camera and directed the HR series "Schmunzel-Clip". He wrote and directed his first play, the music comedy “How was that yesterday?” In 2011. In the same year, he produced the TV documentary “Toy World of the Economic Miracle”, which was broadcast two dozen times on ARD programs . Manfred Mühlbeyer wrote over 1000 scripts.
Collector
Mühlbeyer is known as a specialist in historical toys with a focus on the post-war period of the 1950s and 60s. He wrote a book about this toy era called “Simply Play”.
