Manfred Monjé

Manfred Friedrich Johannes Monjé (born September 9, 1901 in Wesel ; † September 14, 1981 in Kiel ) was a German sensory physiologist.

Life

After graduating from Konrad-Duden-Gymnasium Wesel , Monjé studied Protestant theology , philosophy and human medicine at the Ernst-Moritz-Arndt University of Greifswald and the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn from 1921 to 1925 . In 1922 he became a corps student at Guestphalia Bonn . In Bonn doctorate he in 1925 to Dr. phil. and in 1928 Dr. med. Since 1928 scientific assistant at the Physiological Institute of the University of Rostock , he qualified as a professor in 1929 for physiology . In 1936 he went as a lecturer at the University of Leipzig , which appointed him in 1938 for unscheduled extraordinary professor of physiology. 1942 he became an associate professor at the State University of Poznan , where he 1944 Chair was. From 1951 he worked with Hans-Felix Piper in the eye clinic of the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel . In 1955 he was appointed to the Kiel Chair for Applied Physiology and Sensory Physiology . Guestfalia Greifswald awarded him the ribbon in 1957 (in Bonn) . In 1966 he retired .
