Manfred Silberbach

Manfred Silberbach (born August 7, 1935 in Elbing , West Prussia ) is a German politician with changing party affiliations (most recently the Rule of Law Party ).

Silberbach is married and has three children. He was interned from 1944 to 1947. He then continued his school attendance first in the Ludwigslust district and then moved to the west. Since 1950 he lives in Hamburg and left the same year the school with a completed elementary school . From 1952 to 1955 he trained as a machine fitter . From 1965 he worked in the building authorities. From 1973 he was an exempt member of the staff council , most recently in the municipal drainage department . He has been a pensioner since 1998 . He has been a member of IG Metall , then ÖTV and ver.di since 1953.

politics

Silberbach was a member of the SPD from 1952 to 1993 . From 1968 to 1970 he was a district member of the Hamburg-Harburg district assembly . From 1978 to 1993, he was a member of the parliament of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg for the SPD . From 1993 to 1995 he was a member of the STATT party . From 2000 he was politically active in the Rule of Law Offensive party. From October 2001 to March 2004 he was again a member of the Hamburg Parliament. As a member of the state parliament , he was a member of the budget and constitutional committees.
