Manfred Oskar (Fredi) diving (born July 16, 1947 in Vienna ) is an Austrian singer , actor and cabaret artist .

Career

In the early 1970s he worked with his cabaret partner at the time, Joesi Prokopetz, and with Wolfgang Ambros in the self-composed musical Der Watzmann ruft . In 1981 Manfred diving and Joesi Prokopetz released the single “Die Fußballballade” and in 1982 the single “Das Lied vom Willi Viertel”. The title "Meidling" could be heard on the back. Together with Prokopetz, he founded the group DÖF ( German-Austrian Feingefühl ) in 1983 , which had a great success with the title Codo… düse im Sauseschritt . In 1986, just a few months after the DÖF album Day and Night , diving produced another oneLong- playing record with the title Esbrennt der Hut - Eine Reise nach Ödenteich . After working with several other Austrian singers and composers such as Wolfgang Ambros, diving and Prokopetz released the single Staubig , which turned out to be a flop. In the 1990s, diving mainly worked as a cabaret artist in some theaters in Cologne and played a malicious golfer in the film Ballermann 6 with Tom Gerhardt and Hilmi Sözer .

As an actor, diving already tried in 1984 in the film Didi and the revenge of the disinherited with Dieter Hallervorden . In 1995 he played the role of Raphael van Baalen in Unter uns .
