Manfred Winter (clergyman)

Manfred Winter (born June 17, 1947 in Neukirchen; † February 2, 2008 in Eichstätt ) was a Roman Catholic clergyman and cathedral chapter in Eichstätt.

Life

Manfred Winter studied theology and philosophy and was ordained a priest on July 1, 1973 by Bishop Alois Brems . He initially worked as a chaplain and was appointed cathedral chaplain in Eichstätt in 1975. In 1978 he became director of the St. Willibald Episcopal Seminary in Eichstätt. From 1981 to 1985 he was also a diocesan youth pastor, then he was pastor Dollnstein and from 1990 in St. Pius Ingolstadt.

On January 1, 1999, he was appointed by Bishop Walter Mixa to the cathedral chapter of the Eichstätter cathedral chapter and was head of the main personnel department in the Episcopal Ordinariate Eichstätt, since 2001 chairman of the Diocesan Caritas Association and from December 1999 to June 2000 parish administrator in Großlellenfeld , from September 2000 to August 2003 in Walting near Eichstätt and since 2007 in Ochsenfeld and Meilenhofen . He was episcopal representative for the liturgy , chairman of the liturgical commission of the diocese, episcopal commissioner for orders , secular institutes and spiritual movements, employer representative of the diocese of Eichstätt in the Bavarian regional KODA and as summus custos responsible for the cathedral in Eichstätt .
