Mannie Heymans (born July 14, 1971 in Krugersdorp , South Africa ) is a former Namibian mountain bike and road cyclist .

Career

Mannie Heymans started at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney in mountain bike cross country , where he finished 26th. On the road , he won the Nedbank Cycle Classic in Namibia in 2001 and 2003 . At the B-World Championship in 2003 Heymans finished eleventh in the individual time trial and in the road race he finished 27th.

At the 2004 Olympics in Athens he was 29th in Cross Country and the following year he was again successful at the Nedbank Cycle Classic. Also at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , he started again in the mountain bike competition, where he finished 45th.
